More Randomness

OK, so this is more like a photo blog anyway, so I guess I'll just get to the pictures. I love Animal Crossing.

Harvest Festival

So, Thursday was the Harvest Festival in Animal Crossing City Folk. It started at 3pm and went until 9pm. Well, I had my own Thanksgiving stuff to do, so I didn't get started celebrating the Harvest Festival until about 6:30pm. It was ok though-I still managed to con Tortimer into giving me tons and tons knives and forks, so I could get my hands on the entire Harvest Furniture set from Franklin. It took me until almost 9pm to get it all too-I got 8 pieces in a row without getting any repeats, but then for almost an hour, I had a bunch of repeat furniture. At a little before 9pm, Franklin gave me my 12th piece of furniture-the Harvest Table. Here are a bunch of pictures from the days events.

I finally got gyroid storage at Brewster's Cafe.

New orchard is growing.

Snow in Jurai

Geronimo's town Jurai got its first snow of the season on November 26. He let me come over and try to catch a coelocanth (I didn't and neither did he). It was still pretty awesome.

A Few Days Later....

Not a whole lot of news lately. However, I did finally manage to upgrade my Nook's Cranny. I am now a proud owner of a Nook n Go (well, ok I guess Nook owns it). And on my first shopping trip in the Nook n Go, I got an axe and a slingshot. Of course, I didn't see any balloons after I got the slingshot.

Supposedly Brewster is supposed to open up a gyroid storage if you drink coffee from him for seven days, but I have been having a cup of coffee every day and he hasn't offered any storage yet. I am pretty sure I didn't miss a day. I guess I'll just keep drinking. I think I am going to try going there with a gyroid in my inventory and see if that does anything.

I am finding quite a few fossils-I have only had one repeat fossil so far. Hurray! I'm still no where near having a complete collection.

Here are pictures from the last couple of days.

Enjoying a K.K. Slider concert. I got the song "Two Days Ago" on tape.

Golden Shovel

I dug up my golden shovel today, woo hoo! I still need an axe before I do any major tree planting or anything though. Greg can just fit trees in where ever and not really worry about it, but I'm a nut. When I get a good axe, I'll probably chop down all the trees and just start over from square one. Greg is already working on getting a perfect town, no matter how annoying all the trees are, but then he'll have the golden watering can. In Wild World, I just planted a ton of flowers everywhere and suddenly my town was perfect. I wasn't even trying. I might try in this game, but I'm not laying a grid or anything (like Greg did).

Let's see, this morning I also found a neon tetra. Now all I need is a popeyed goldfish and I'll be good for November fish. I'm still not doing well at all with the bugs.

Another animal moved in today. Twiggy the yellow bird. I'm not a big Twiggy fan, but it's ok. At least it's not Angus. I hate Angus.

On to the pictures.

(From last night) Dr. Shrunk with a funny look on his face.

Second loan is paid off! (I took the picture too quickly.)

Another Day of Animal Crossing Fun

Today was pretty uneventful. I did finally catch a barred knifejaw, but I still need to catch a neon tetra and a popeyed goldfish. It's a little late in the day to try for those anymore. I still haven't found a fancy mushroom, but I found a mush dresser today and Greg found a 2nd mush bed, so he gave it to me.

Prince wants a flea and Gaston wants a centipede. I need both for the museum also, but so far, I haven't found either one. I only found one fossil today-so much for Katrina's charm.

Pictures from last night:

Drake being weird.

My first lobster.

Pictures from today:

My first hybrid flower, an orange cosmos.

Alice makes a stupid request.

I met Pete while he was out delivering mail.

I also fell in a pitfall.

Purrl wanted me to take her picture. I don't know if I'll need this or not.

Finally, here is me relaxing with some fishing. Doesn't the sky look neat?
